Muslim Outreach Not the Job of NASA, White House Says

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that NASA Administrator Charles Bolden must have misspoken when he told Al Jazeera last month that one of his top priorities is to reach out to Muslim countries. "That was not his task and that's not the task of NASA," Gibbs said.  Bolden, though, said last month in the interview that it was President Obama who gave him that task. Ooooh! See... the NASA guy misspoke! (That happens a lot with this government.) He did not understand what the President really wanted him to do.  But noting in the interview had anything to do with space exploration.  Hmmm... Maybe we will find out one day what the NASA guy is supposed to be doing.
